Layouts become Astro components
Pages that share a template become one Astro layout, so a change happens once.
Contentrain Migrate turns your WordPress site into an editable Astro project in your GitHub: your pages built as Astro components, not copies, and checked against your original. One fixed price per site.
Free discovery, no account needed. See the scope first; nothing is charged until you accept a quote.
Why it's hard
A WordPress site is its templates, menus, media, URLs and the titles search engines know. Migrate moves each part to Astro and checks the result against your original.

Your addresses keep working, or redirect where they change.
Titles, descriptions and canonicals carry over.
Menus, pagination and breadcrumbs come across.
One template family becomes one Astro layout.
Images and files your published content uses move into the project. Very large files stay at their current address, and after delivery we tell you how many.
Posts and pages become editable models.
Your content, addresses and search titles stay as they are, and an address that has to change redirects. The design is rebuilt as a modern version of your site, from your colors, fonts and logo.
How it works
Start with a free report on what your site has and what is holding it back. You see the scope first, and the price comes by email before anything is charged.
A free report shows your content, templates and what is holding the site back.
Free, no accountSee what moves and where your forms and comments will live, and ask for one fixed price for the whole site, quoted by email.
Price fixed in the offerOnline payment is not open right now, so the price for the whole site comes as a quote by email, and nothing is charged until you accept it. Then connect your site: the free Contentrain Bridge plugin is recommended, or an application password.
Priced by emailMigrate builds your Astro project and checks it against the original. If an automated check cannot pass on its own, the move shows it is being completed and we email you when it is ready. Then it is yours, in GitHub or as a zip.
Comes with its reportYour WordPress site is only read, never changed. Your domain stays where it is until you point it at the new site. The optional Bridge plugin is yours to install and remove.
What you get
Your layouts become Astro components, your content becomes models you can edit, and the finished project lands in your own GitHub.
Pages that share a template become one Astro layout, so a change happens once.
Posts, pages, authors and categories become structured models: fields, not a blob of HTML.
Route rules come from your site's own links.
Old addresses are kept as they are, or redirected to their new place where they change.
Sitemap, canonicals, structured data and meta tags are produced without a plugin.
Images and files your published content uses move into the project with it. Up to 4,000 files and 500 MB in total; a single file over 50 MB, and anything past those limits, stays at its current address, and after delivery we tell you how many.
Content becomes models with named fields, and the relations between them stay linked.
You own the repository. An empty one gets main; otherwise a separate migrate/… branch, and your default branch is left untouched.
Pre-rendered HTML with no WordPress runtime. Measure it on your own hosting.
During the move, pages from every template are checked against your original on desktop and mobile.
Named fields and relations let compatible AI tools propose changes you review before publishing.
The checks
Every delivery comes with its own report, including anything left to finish. If an automated check cannot pass on its own, the move shows it is being completed and we email you when it is ready.
Checks
Every page's text is compared with the original. Menus, pagination, lists, comments and breadcrumbs are still there.
Titles, descriptions, canonicals and language are kept. Every public address answers, redirects still redirect and links resolve.
Pages from every template are rendered at 390, 768 and 1280 px and scored against the original.
astro check passes, pages are built from components, and no WordPress JavaScript ships with the site.
Drafts, scheduled and password-protected posts are checked not to reach the site. Builds run as a separate, unprivileged user.
Content sits in typed, named models. A content change is rebuilt into the site to prove it, before hand-over.
Left to finish

Free WordPress plugin
The free Contentrain Bridge plugin exports your posts, pages and media as Markdown and JSON, to a zip or your GitHub.
Get the free pluginFree and open source (GPL). No account. The export goes only where you send it. Files over 8 MB, and any beyond the export's 512 MB media total, keep their WordPress address and are listed in the export's warnings (bridge/warnings.json).
Price and scope
Prices start at $50 per site, each priced from an automated discovery of your site. The exact price depends on your site's pages, media, templates, languages and features, which the free discovery counts. Online payment is not open right now, so the one fixed price for the whole site comes by email, and nothing is charged until you accept it. If your site's robots.txt closes it to Migrate's reader, Contentrain support quotes it by email the same way.

Questions people ask
Contentrain Migrate is software that converts a WordPress content site (a blog, a company site, landing pages) into an Astro project in your own GitHub: layouts as Astro components, content as editable Contentrain models, addresses kept or redirected, and every page checked against the original by automated tests.
Your content, page structure, addresses and SEO are kept, and an address that has to change redirects. The look is modernized: the design is rebuilt from your colors, fonts and logo, so the new site is a modern version of yours, not a pixel copy. How far each page's layout differs from the original is measured and listed in your delivery report.
Discovery usually takes under a minute. Once you accept the quote and your site is connected, the move runs on our servers and you can follow it live: it takes 30 min – 6 h, varying with system load and the site's size and structure. If an automated check cannot pass on its own, the move shows it is being completed and we email you when it is ready.
Prices start at $50 per site. Each site is priced from an automated discovery of your site. Online payment is not open right now, so the price for your whole site comes by email: ask for a quote on your site's offer, and nothing is charged until you accept it. If your site's robots.txt closes it to ContentrainMigrate, there is no offer on the page: email support@contentrain.io and Contentrain support quotes it by email.
When previews are enabled and your site allows our reader, sign in with GitHub to see a homepage preview before you order. The complete site is built and compared with the original on desktop and mobile during the migration.
No. Migrate only reads your site: what it shows the public and, if you add one, what an application password opens — you can revoke it at any time. If you choose to install the optional Contentrain Bridge plugin, it runs on your WordPress to export your content for the move, and you can remove it afterwards.
Your content lives as structured models in your repository. Edit it in Git, or connect Contentrain Studio for a visual editor.
They run on a server today. The offer lists each one with its choices — managed by Contentrain Studio, an adapter on the static site, or kept on WordPress.
Anywhere that serves static sites. The project is yours, in your GitHub.
Email support@contentrain.io. Send the address of your site or the link to your order page, so we can find it.
A site whose shop is its business gets no offer: a static site cannot run a shop. A small shop beside your content stays on WordPress, and the offer says so before you order; it needs an address of its own before your domain moves. Membership systems stay on WordPress too, and the offer asks first whether to move the site without one. Comments, forms and search each get a choice in the offer. Redirects set up in a plugin, and the data an SEO plugin keeps, move only with the free Contentrain Bridge plugin.

A WordPress site needs its core, theme and plugins kept up to date, its security patches never stop, and a database server answers every visit. A static Astro site has none of those to look after.
Astro ships static HTML, fast by default, with no server or database to patch, and it runs on any static host. Your content stays editable, as models in your repository.
